Caller ID & Phone Contacts

Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 15, 2026

Phone Contacts ("we", "our", or "us"), available under the package name CallerIDSpamDialer.sms.trusted.phonebook.callapp, respects and protects your privacy. This Privacy Policy details how we access, collect, use, process, and protect your information when using our dialer, caller identification, spam protection, contact management, and location-based lookup services.

  1. Information We Access and Collect

A. Sensitive Device Permissions

Contacts and Phonebook (READ_CONTACTS, WRITE_CONTACTS): We access your contacts strictly to allow you to display, search, organize, manage, and dial phone numbers directly within the app. Contact lookup and matching are processed locally on your device. We do not upload, sync, or sell your personal address book or contact entries to external servers or third-party data brokers.

Location Information (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION): We access precise and approximate location data while using the app to support location-based utility features, including finding nearby places, determining country/area codes, compass direction, and live location viewing on the map. Location data is processed ephemerally on-device during active use. We do not track user location in the background, nor do we sell, log, or share real-time location trails with third parties.

Phone and Call State (READ_PHONE_STATE, CALL_PHONE): We access phone state permissions to handle outgoing phone calls from within the dialer interface, detect network country information, and identify unknown incoming callers for fraud and spam prevention.

Technical and Device Data: We collect non-identifiable technical data including device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID), IP address, and application crash reports to ensure app stability and maintain network security.

B. Information You Provide Voluntarily If you choose to create an in-app profile, we store the details you submit, such as display name or photo. If you flag phone numbers, your user-reported spam details are utilized solely to update community spam detection databases.

  1. How We Use Your Information

We use the accessed information exclusively for:

  1. Core Communication & Utilities: Powering dial pad operations, managing on-device contacts, initiating calls, displaying map directions, and rendering area-based lookup utilities.

  2. Caller ID & Spam Filtering: Identifying incoming unknown numbers and blocking telemarketers, spam callers, or fraudulent numbers.

  3. System Reliability: Diagnosing software bugs, analyzing crash traces, and optimizing application responsiveness.

  4. Monetization & Analytics: Serving contextual, non-personalized, or consent-based ads through Google AdMob, and reviewing aggregated usage metrics via Firebase Analytics. Sensitive data (contacts, location coordinates, phone state) is never used for advertising personalization.

  5. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or transfer personal data to third parties. We integrate verified third-party developer SDKs that collect limited technical data strictly under standard confidentiality terms:

  • Google Play Services

  • Google AdMob

  • Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics

We may disclose minimal information if legally required by valid court order, applicable statutory law, or to safeguard our users' safety and legal rights.

  1. Data Security and Retention

Security: All local interactions remain protected by Android system sandbox boundaries. Any network queries (such as spam database checks or map requests) are executed over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections.

Retention: We do not store personal contacts or live location tracks on external databases. System diagnostic logs and aggregated spam reports are retained only as long as necessary for operational performance, after which they are deleted or anonymized.

  1. User Rights and Controls

Permission Revocation: You have complete control over permissions. You can enable or disable permissions (Contacts, Location, Phone) at any time through your Android system settings: Settings > Apps > Phone Contacts > Permissions.

Ad Identifiers: You can reset your advertising identifier or opt out of interest-based ads via: Settings > Google > Ads.

Data Deletion Requests: You have the right to request deletion of any profile details or feedback reports you submitted. To submit a data deletion request, email us at fenacreation28@gmail.com. Requests are processed within 30 days.

  1. Children's Privacy

Phone Contacts is not designed for or directed toward children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from minors. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete the data immediately.

  1. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect app updates, regulatory rules, or Google Play policy revisions. Any modifications will be posted here with an updated revision date. Continued usage of the application indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
